Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Emerton Public School, a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive learning community in the heart of Western Sydney.
At Emerton Public School, we are a close-knit community that fosters a warm, collaborative, and inclusive environment where every student is valued, empowered, known, cared for, and prepared for an ever-changing world
Our school proudly serves and celebrates a wonderfully diverse community, where students from many cultural and linguistic backgrounds learn and grow in a culture of respect, collaboration, and belonging.
We believe every child deserves to thrive through explicit teaching, holistic wellbeing practices, and strong community connections. Our dedicated educators inspire equity and excellence by providing engaging, student-centred lessons, and a range of extra-curricular opportunities so that every student can achieve their full potential through academic, sporting, cultural, and creative achievements.
We are delighted to establish our Emerton Public Preschool, an important step in nurturing our youngest learners in our commitment to early learning. Our preschool will support children and their families from the very start of their educational journey, fostering curiosity, confidence, and connection in a warm and caring environment.
At Emerton Public School, we pride ourselves on a culture of belonging, with kindness at the heart of everything we do. Through strong partnerships with families and our community, we nurture respectful, resilient learners who strive to grow and improve every day.
We invite you, as a student, parent, or community member, to work alongside us in our welcoming school community and to experience the kindness, collaboration, and belonging that makes our school a truly special place to learn, grow, and succeed.
Warmest Regards,
Penny Walden
