Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Emerton Public School, a vibrant and inclusive learning community in the heart of Western Sydney. At Emerton, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
Our school is proud to serve a wonderfully diverse community, where students from many cultural and linguistic backgrounds, learn side by side in an atmosphere of respect, collaboration, and belonging. We are committed to celebrating this diversity and ensuring that every student feels valued and empowered to reach their potential.
At Emerton Public School, our vision is clear: we foster a collaborative and inclusive community where every student is valued, empowered, and prepared for an ever-changing world. Through high-impact teaching and personalised learning, we nurture curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. Our teachers are dedicated professionals who provide explicit, structured, and engaging lessons that support every student to achieve academic excellence particularly in the foundational areas of literacy and numeracy.
We are also excited about the establishment of our preschool in 2027, which will strengthen our ability to support early learning and smooth transitions into Kindergarten. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring every child in our community has the best possible start to their educational journey.
At Emerton, we take pride in being a school where students are confident, respectful, and resilient learners who strive to be better every day. We invite you to join us in this journey as a student, parent, or community partner and to experience the warmth, dedication, and sense of belonging that make Emerton Public School truly special.
